Last Saturday we went to the Family Picnic for Jered's command at a large park just south of Miramar. It was nice to meet some of his co-worker's families. Will enjoyed watching the older kids run and play. Jered's co-workers couldn't get over how big Will is. They could tell that he takes after his daddy! Will is hopefully over his latest ear infection. We have an appointment Wednesday morning for follow up. If he's clear, they can give him his vaccinations, which we have been unable to get because of his ears.
Will started giving bedtime and naptime kisses to Mommy and sometimes even Daddy this week. It's so precious. We also started working on a few more signs, "Please" and "help." It really helps him when he can communicate with us, especially since he's not been feeling well...for the last couple of months, haha. Anyway, he's doing well with the other signs, so we thought he'd like to learn a few more. Although he's getting pretty good at saying some of the words more consistently, like "all done," sometimes he's too worked up to use his words, and the signs are easier for him to remember. We hope that everyone is enjoying their last few weeks of summer!
I just compared Will's new measurements with Carter's. They are EXACTLY the same except for a 1/2" difference in height! (although I don't think Carter's was correct because he was figting the nurse from stretching his legs out!) We need to get these boys together some how!
