Saturday we joined our neighbors at Rohr Park for the San Diego Model Railroad Club's Labor Day event. Everyone brings the trains they have built and runs them on the track that circles the park. It's no small peanuts either - the train rides last about 20 min each, and some trains were pulling 15 people. After taking everyone for a couple of rides, Joel and Rosann grilled carne asada tacos for all their guests. The event lasts all weekend, and the participants usually bring tents to camp out at the park. It's an amazing hobby and we're so glad that the Hendricks invited us to share the day with them and their family.
Kisses - Will loves giving Mommy kisses!

Despite his face in this picture, Will had so much fun on the train ride. He kept turning around and smiling at me. He loved watching the people in the park as we chugged
past.

Father-son outfits for church on Sunday (even their shoes are exactly the same!)
The best hands-free carrying method. This is a common sight at our house.
