Happy Birthday Will

Today we celebrated Will's 1st birthday! Daddy worked tonight, so he was home this morning to help Will open some presents. He opened his walk and ride from Grandpa Bill and Gram E, his Ernie doll from us, and a very cute card from Grandpa and Grandma Hanschen. He also had a singing birthday call from both sets of grandparents! We picked Auntie Abby up at the airport this afternoon. We went to Seaport Village to shop and walk around the bayfront (and to avoid the rush hour traffic!). When we got home, Will opened one of his presents from Auntie - a couple of new pairs of shoes, which he really liked a lot. He had a doctor's appointment this morning for his well baby check up and ear infection follow up - he's doing great on both fronts, and we are happy report that his ear infections have cleared up again. His shots will be Monday - we didn't want to ruin his birthday party Saturday afternoon. About 15 people are coming for a cookout and cake to celebrate Will's birthday with us. We are so blessed with our wonderful baby...or toddler now...he is a sweet boy and brings such joy to our lives!
