We just flew back today from Texas. Will's first airplane ride went really well from San Diego to San Antonio. We got a lot of complements on how he was "the best baby ever" on an airplane! Our visit with our family in Texas was wonderful. Will spent a lot of time with his grandparents, who thoroughly enjoyed their first grandchild. He liked cuddling, reading and listening to Gram-E sing, and his face would light up everytime Grandpa Bill came into the room. He also got to meet his two great-grandmothers on my side (GGG and Grandma Royce), and also his great aunts and uncles. Will's Auntie Abby was still one of his favorite people, and he would break into giggles at her Donald Duck impression. Christmas and New Year's were fun celebrations and we are so glad that Will got to spend so much time with his family. We were excited to get back home, but dissappointed that Will and I both came down with something yesterday. It made the plane rides today not so fun (my ears still haven't popped!). This is Will's first experience with sickness, and he is not a happy camper. We are going to the doctor Sunday morning to get checked out. We are including lots of pictures on this blog because we are just thrilled about Will's first Christmas!
