On Saturday, we went to the Lower Otay Reservoir, which is about 3-4 miles from our house. It is open for fishing Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. There is also an Upper Otay Reservoir, which is smaller, but just as pretty. The water is very clear and boats are allowed on the lake. Hopefully soon we will be able to spend some time fishing. We were sick this weekend, and we were unable to spend a long length of time at the lake.
We also discovered this weekend that we have hummingbirds living in our yard. They love the honeysuckle and hibiscus that are planted along the fence's perimeter. We are going to buy a feeder to hang amidst the flowers so we can enjoy the hummers more.
