Happy Easter! We celebrated Easter this Sunday by attending services at Calvary Chapel, which is only a few miles from our house. The sermon was interesting and uplifting, and they even sang one traditional hymn. We did miss the full choir/orchestra/ and guest singer we would have had at our church in Maryland! However, it was great to celebrate Jesus' resurrection with other believers. Our roses are finally starting to come back after the frost in February almost did them in. Our land lady was not sure that they would survive, but they seem to be "blossoming" (as is my belly!) We recieved the bedding on Friday and put together the crib last night. We have yet to get a mattress or wash the bedding, so you can see it hanging off the side of the crib. We are thinking at this point that we might not paint the nursery. As you can see, the former tenants put display shelving all around the room. They actually go around all four walls. It would be very tedious to take them all down and put them back up, but we may change our minds in the future. We do have almost four more months to decide :)
