July 5 - 11, we were on vacation in Colorado Springs. Almost immediately after we returned, Jered was out of town until the next Friday night, so I've been very busy and have fallen behind on our blogging. To catch up, I'll put up a picture album for our vacation time in Colorado, then our Family Ministry park day on the 12th of July, and our beach outing this past weekend. In Colorado, we did a lot of fun things like riding the Cog Railway to Pike's Peak Summit, Garden of the Gods, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and the Buckskin Joe Railway at Royal Gorge. The best part was seeing Will interact with his grandparents and aunt. He was especially attatched to Grandpa Bill again, whom he affectionately calls "Baba" or "Growga Baba," and has asked about him several times since we got home. Our fun was doubled because we also got to see Jered's parents on Friday, and spent the day in Denver with them before flying home on Saturday.

Black Widows - Jered has to go round and kill these every few weeks. This one was on his leg when he walked into its web in the garage! (It is dead in the pictures of course).
