Random Will pictures

Here are some cute pictures from the last couple of weeks. Will likes to help me in the kitchen. He unloads the dishwasher, wipe his highchair tray and the table, and he recently discovered sweeping. He loves the "boom" and enjoyed using the little hand whisk to help me clean up. He's also enjoyed playing with the train set that Jered's Aunt Georgia gave him when we were in Wisconsin.

Since Will's tubes were put in, he's been much more talkative and "assertive" (exact word used by the nursery worker at church). He has been saying 2-5 word sentences since he was about 12 months old, but almost everything he says is at least a 2 word sentence, and he repeats words right away instead of taking a few days to learn them. I wrote down a couple this week because I'm always forgetting the news ones these days. This week he's said, "nice," "Let's go bye bye," "Night night Mama," "Go down and have milk?" and today - "Why don't we go out?" (he wanted Pastor Mark to take him outside to play with their model trains in the backyard. It was so cute!)

He is also more assertive with other children (in a good way, like when they take his toy away he says something instead of watching them). He has even been a little ham when he's around a lot of other kids, where he used to be more on the shy side. We can tell he is hearing much better, which is a good thing! He has also started expressing more interest in the potty and has told me a couple of time "poo poo" before he went, several times bringing me the clean diaper and wipes ahead of time or going into the bathroom and pointing at the toilet while telling me "poo poo." So we got him a little potty chair and we're going to start bowel training anyway. We'll see how it goes. He's only 22 mos, so no rush!
