On Saturday, our Young Family Ministry visited the Bonita Pumpkin Station. The kids had fun feeding the goats, taking a hay ride, going through the corn maze, and picking out their own pumpkin to take home. Will was very excited when we walked in. He kept shouting, "Apples! Apples!" We said, "Honey, those are pumpkins." Will said, "Oh! Bumpkins, bumpkins!!" Every 10 minutes or so, he'd forget and change back to apples, so we'd tell him again, and he'd say, "Bumpkins!" He also loved the "oats" as he called the goats. There was one tall llama with spots, which he called a giraffe...it really did look remarkably like a baby giraffe! We had a picnic lunch at the pumpkin station after the activities. It was a really fun day!
