Pumpkin Station
This Saturday Will and I went to the Bonita Pumpkin Station with our Family Ministry. They have a petting area with goats, sheep and llamas. We had a demonstration and talk about different kinds of pumpkins, gourds and squash. They even told us how to cook some of them, and which are best for pies, bread, etc. Then we went on a hayride, through a corn maze, and out into the pumpkin patch where the kids got to pick a pumpkin each to take home. We enjoyed a picnic lunch afterward with our friends. We had a great time, we only wish Jered had been able to go too. Sunday afternoon we had our bible study class, and Will got to go to the big kids' room. He normally dislikes being dropped off at the nursery and takes a while to settle down, but he had a blast with the 2 yr olds coloring, singing and playing.
Tomorrow we're going to the Chula Vista Nature Center so Will can see the fish and pet the sting rays. Next Saturday we have a costume party at My Gym. We'll make sure to take lots of cute pictures of Will in his monkey costume. He is going to be a monkey again courtesy of our friends the Hegards at church who gave us their son's costume from last year. Nice to recycle these things that they only use once and never wear again!
