To celebrate the New Year, we went to Sea World with our friends the Penfolds. On our way up there,we told Will we were going to see Ella. So during our drive it was, "El-la? El-la!" Will was happy to see his friends again after our long vacation, and asked Jason to pick him up several times. It was a chilly day, but a nice change from the usual heat that accompanies visits to theme parks. We saw lots of animal exihibits, a dolphin show, and the Shamu show. Will loved all the animals and the live music at the dolphin show (he clapped along with the guitar player). He was really excited about the killer whales. He kept saying, "Wow!" and "Look!" It was a really fun day. We are going to get me a year pass (you can get one for the price of a day ticket!) so I can go throughout the year with Sara. What a great way to ring in the New Year!
Yesterday we took down our Christmas decorations and dusted, vacuumed, and rearranged our living room furniture to create more floor space for Will since he's walking around a lot more. It turned out well we think, although I still need to fix the paintings because they are not centered now. Will has fun with the extra room, walking back and forth between the arm chair and the couch.
