Yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound at the Naval Medical Center in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. We were anxious to know how our baby was doing after our last doctor's visit on January 19th. The baby is healthy, weighing in at 13 oz, measuring 21 weeks, and heartbeat of 160 bpm. We also found out the baby is a boy! We are looking forwarding to starting the nursery decorating once we have all these boxes unpacked. Anyone who knows Jered knows the nursery theme--jets!
We want our little miracle to know how special he is, and hope that God will guide us while we raise our boy. It is an exciting and scary thought to know that we are half-way through this pregnancy. There is still so much to do: budgeting, reading, praying! We are thankful for our family and friends' support as we make this transition not only across the country to a new home, but also from a couple to a family. Our fervent wish now is to find a good church home for our growing family.
